Our local PBS Station is running a Masterpiece Classic and it is about 8 weeks of Jane Austen. Could I be happier? I don't think so! For all of you who love Jane Austen, this is my interpretation of Elizabeth Bennett, heroine in Pride and Prejudice, reading Mr. Darcy's letter after she declined his proposal. I actually typed his letter and reduced it to 1/12th scale. Her gloves rest in her lap as she thinks about his words and the truths he discloses.
